TAC (triallyl cyanurate) is a three-functional crosslinking agent that can significantly improve the strength, rigidity, and heat resistance of plastic products, allowing them to be used at temperatures as high as 250 degree for extended periods of time.
As a result, TAC is a novel crosslinking agent for the preparation of high-performance unsaturated polyesters and acrylic resins, and it is particularly suitable for the preparation of high-temperature resistant and high-strength FRP products.
TAC can also be used as a curing accelerator for highly saturated rubber in the rubber and cable industries, as well as a photosensitizer for radiation cross-linking of polyolefins to reduce the amount of irradiation.
